Do You Really Love Natural Remedies? Skin Care Must Be Natural Too.
Gradually there is a world wide movement towards natural remedies. Skin care included. People are starting to realize that natural products and natural remedies can work, and work well, and be safer.
50 or so years ago everyone went to the Physician because that was all there was, but now there is such a strong movement towards more natural remedies and products that many natural therapists are booked out.
That doesn’t mean, however, that all these natural remedies work well, or at all. there are several examples of charlatans pimping so called natural cures for all sorts of things that turn out often not to be a cure at all, and sometimes not even quite so natural.
Skin care is just the same. although it’s possible to find many brands of natural skincare products many aren’t quite as “natural” as you would expect and some don’t work very well.
However this said, there are good reasons why people look for natural solutions to good skin care. The reasons are simple. Many huge name skin care products contain chemical ingredients that are less than healthy for us, and in some cases are actually bad for our skin.
There are, for example, petrochemical products in many skin care products. Look for mineral oil in skin care products and you’ll find its quite common. Mineral oil is a petrochemical product. And it clogs the pores of your skin, potentially causing or exacerbating acne.
And it’s even possible to find skincare products with ingredients that are known to cause cancer.
So clearly there are good reasons why you ought to be using more natural skin care products that contain only known, naturally occurring safe and effective ingredients.
But even though you can get many skin care products that are called “natural’ there’s a problem. You see there is no definition of what “natural” actually means and the FDA isn’t required to test products to satisfy themselves that the ingredients are safe or natural. So there are still products labeled natural that contain potentially harmful ingredients.
Recently some products labeled “organic” were found with 1,4 Dioxane in them, a known carcinogen.
So you've to be careful, not all skin care products labeled as natural are quite as natural or as safe as you would like.
I wrote an article on my website last week setting out a easy process to go through to find out more about how safe “natural’ skincare products really are.
So if you’re interested in natural remedies, and that leads you to buying natural skin care products, we recommend that the first thing you do is to read that article that we wrote for people like you.
And I also tell you about who I believe makes the safest and best natural skin care products in the world, and why.
Because not all natural skin care products are created equal.
